How to set the Home page in Safari ?

On the iPad, does anyone know how to set the Home page in Safari?

I've looked at everything I can possibly think of, but can't find it.

You start with a blank page. It would be nice if it showed you thumbnail pics of your bookmarks as the "homepage".

You could save the bookmark of your desired homepage to the home screen and then drop the icon into the static taskbar in place of the Safari icon.

Easy. Go to the home page of your choice, and then "Add" to your ipad home page. I store that page on my dock, and that way, all i do is click on it when i want to go there.

Good workaround but I would prefer Safari to do it. Eventually I think we will have tabs and the home choice.
