Someone mentioned being able to shrink icons using select themes. Anyone know what the source for select themes is?

I think like you keep it the same size as a normal icon, but like...lets put it this way..

the icon is supposed to be 48 x 48 (example), but you want it to be 24 x 24. So you basically make the icon size starting with 48 x 48 but you draw your image 24 x 24, and keep the outside transparent, so that it LOOKS like its 24 x 24. get it? Idk lol...don't take my word for it.

I think I remember the thread where that phrase was used and also went out searching for "select themes" but I concluded that the poster meant certain themes had smaller icons, which is true, there are a lot with smaller icons.

I used to use the Theme 70px (see below) and the icons were to big for use with a 5 icon dock to i shrunk the icons by about 10 pixels each way. The way I did this was to just load the image up into photoshop Edit > Image Size then enter the new dimensions i wanted and save it again as a png and this worked fine for me!
