How to sign iPhone out of iCloud remotely?

My daughter wants to sign an old iPhone out of iCloud. She no longer has possession of it. Is it possible to do it from another device or on iCloud.com?

You should be able to using Find My in iCloud.com: if a device is offline (which it presumably will be unless she left it logged in and gave it to someone else) you get the option to remove it from the account.


If it’s still logged in, the option is Erase this device

Take a look at the steps under "if you no longer have your iPhone": https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201351. You won't be able to do all of those, but do as many as you can.
