My wife and have different user accounts on our MB. Our iTunes library resides in the shared folder so we can both access it. We changed the file path to look in the shared folder for the library. This has worked really well except for one minor problem. Whenever either one of us buy something on iTunes, it still downloads to the iTunes music folder for that particular user instead of going into the shared folder. Can anyone shed some light on this?

When you moved your folder, did you physically move the folder or just specified where to look for music? You need to physically move the whole iTunes folder and then reference the new location. This should change the setting to download to the new location.
Ahh, No I just specified where to look for the library. Is there an easy way to fix this? Though i'm a little confused

You should just have to go into iTunes->Prefences->Advanced. On that tab you will see an area where you specify where iTunes will store the music files. Just change that to the shared folder and all future purchases should save to there. Also I believe "Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library" should be checked for this to work.
