Just as the title states, I’m having a hell of a time figuring out how to deal with the Apple Podcast up next queue. I added a bunch of episodes manually, but under those its showing over 100 episodes of a show that I’ve already listened to. No clue why, and it doesn’t let me delete them. The only way for me to get rid of them is to unsubscribe from the show, but as soon as I re-subscribe, the up next queue populates them again. All the episodes are checked as “played” and there are still dozens of episodes I have yet to listen to that aren’t in that list. These seems to be a fairly new development, I’ve only began noticing it since iOS 13.4. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get it to stop?

EDIT: Just deleted the app and redownloaded it. The“up next” list was clear at first, but as soon as I started playing a different show, it auto populated with 100+ episodes of that show, that I’ve also listened to.

Probably best to get another podcast app than wrangle with the issues of the Apple one. Plenty of superb alternatives out there
