When I print from Mac to my laser printer (an HP M254DW), the pages always get shrunk a little to fit the printable area of the printer.

This is really annoying because it means that pages that looked great in whichever app I created or viewed them in (Affinity Publisher, Word, Acrobat Reader and so on) end up looking terrible on paper because of all the additiona unwanted white space at the borders. And this is completely pointless since the pages already have white borders, and absolutely ridiculous when done to a page produced by a DTP app, where WYSIWYG is the whole point. This completely kills WYSIWIG.

How can I stop my pages getting shrunk in this way? How can I get them to print at exactly the scale I created them in?
