How to stop iPhone auto correction feature?!

This is really annoying when I'm typing something it will change it to some random word unless I look up from the keyboard and see that I have to hit the little x to cancel the auto correction on the word. Any ideas? My iPhone is jailbroken running 2.1.

predictive text input can't be disabled. I want to, but can't. Why Apple? Why???

oh if your phone is jailbroken there's a way to do it, i've seen it somewhere but forgot, google it. you have to delete some file...

currently only jailbroken iphones can turn it off.

Yes it is annoying, especially if one sms's in more than one language! And I rarely use it, even in English.

i'm using kb auto disable from installer, it works great!
