I am trying to do a click-drag of a folder in finder and quicklook opens on the folder not allowing me to drag it. How do I disable this annoying feature? If I want quicklook, then I will right-click and select quicklook.

That's not a feature. It shouldn't happen. What trackpad gesture are you using for click-drag?

Edit: Daniva nailed it. You're pressing too hard. If you can't learn not to press so hard, follow his advice for the three finger drag, or choose drag with drag lock instead. (I use the second one)

Yes, if you click and press firmly, you open quicklook

Go to System preferences > Accessibility > Pointer control > Trackpad/mouse options and select the three finger drag option:
