Hi,

I’m with AT&T currently but I’m looking to possibly switch to Verizon when the iPhone 15 pro comes out, would there be a way to pay the 15 pro cost monthly on Verizon instead of buying the iPhone upfront all at once and then switching?

Thanks

Yes, Verizon is very good like that. I was with Sprint for many years and got sick of them. I went to a Verizon Wireless store, switched to Verizon, and got my first iPhone 11 there. You can pay for the phone monthly in your bill. For me, it’s been like $20-$30. Some of these carriers charge interest, but with Verizon it’s no interest.

They do a small credit check probably to make sure you haven’t burned Verizon in the past, but I got the plan no problem, and I don’t generally have access to traditional credit; I’ve been told by others that in the credit industry I am what’s called a “ghost.”

I think for the 11 I paid some small amount down like $200, but I haven’t had to do that since, and I’ve gotten two iPhones since then, a 13PM and my current 14PM. With getting the 13PM I was almost paid in full on the 11 (still owed like $150) so I paid that one off, gave it to a family member, and financed the 13PM. With getting the 14PM, I was only about halfway through the finance term on the 13PM, so I paid about $150 to get me to the halfway point then traded in the 13PM for the 14PM.

Really, I’ve found Verizon to be flexible and great to deal with. Also, I think their network is hands-down the best. Go to a store and inquire. I’ve done my purchases during laid back times in the middle of the cycle, and I wouldn’t want to be a part of the pre-order rush or wait in lines and all that, but it shouldn’t make any difference if that’s what you’re inclined to do.
