How to switch from .mac to mobile me?

hello... how do i switch from the old .mac to mobile me in the system preferences? I am running my old imac off system 10.4.11 i thought maybe it needed a system update but it say everything is up to date. im looking to set my girlfriend up with a mobile me account but like i said i still have .mac on here. THANXXX

thanx... but it only lets u put in a _______@mac.com email. If i set up a mobile me. it only ________@me.com now. Right?

its normal for OS X 10.4.11. you can continue to use .Mac preferences

you only need to enter the username (for example, only the underlined steve@me.com or marypoppins@mac.com) and then your password
