How to switch to External monitor in Windows?

Using Bootcamp for Windows
External & Laptop monitors show XP logo at boot up, but then external goes black.

In Windows what keyboard combination do I need, in order for external monitor to work ?

I think you need to enable it in the Display preferences.

In OSX or in Windows?

I don't know what you mean by "switch"? When you plug in a display in OSX it will span your desktop over to it, you can enable the other display to be the main one by dragging over the menu bar in the image of the two screens in the display preferences.

In Windows I'm not too sure but I remember right-clicking on the desktop and enabling "extend my desktop to external display" somewhere in there.
