After the Apple event, I downloaded Sierra Beta GM on an external SSD disk.
When using Siri, "Launch Mailplane" it kept launching "Mail". I don't use Mail. Tried talking clearly, Siri just kept launching Mail.
Found this: Can you teach Siri (or voice texting) how to say a word

Though it's an iOS post, works the same for desktop Sierra Siri. What I did was, after creating a "Mailplane" with its phonetic contact, I would say "contact mailplane", just to make sure Siri and I were on the same page and Siri would launch my Contacts and go to the 'Mailplane" contact.
After that, it was time to try, "launch mailplane." a-batta-bing-a-batta-boom, Mailplane now launches with my Siri command.

@Crzyrio
Yeah you can, you can type out how to say it.
Go to contacts, select the contact for your Dog(create one if not already there) and click edit. Then scroll down to the bottom and click add field, then select 'Phonetic First Name' and type out the name as you would way it.
