How do you tell if there is cracks on the back? Since the 3g and the 3gs seem to have this issue.

I have the 3g but in black. I can see pretty well but my vision isn't the best (long story but blind in one eye from an car accident when I was younger so some things are just harder for me to see) Since this is covered under warranty I just wanna make sure how to tell for sure so that the issue doesn't escalate.

Im NOT one of those people who takes something in for every little thing. Just wouldn't want those cracks to get worse.

My advice would be to get someone with clearer vision to inspect it for you. If neither you nor your friend can see anything, then don't worry about it.

ETA: is your username intentionally ironic?

BUT the cracks tend to be black in color right? (the white iphone screenshots i have seen they are noticeable due to their dark color.)

If so that's going to be hard to see on a black iphone right? Anyone have any screenshots that I can get an idea how they look?

Yes it is intentionally ironic

It was a nickname I had in highschool. My parents thought it was mean I enjoyed it gotta laugh at yourself or you go crazy.

Can you please add at least one question mark to your thread title and another somewhere in your post, otherwise people will expect a tutorial.

Done and Done Sorry when I was typing this I was doing so at work with like 30 seconds before I was leaving from work was in a rush.

if you cant see the cracks why are we even having this discussion?

Well I am just trying to be proactive. I dont want it to get worse to the point that Apple would say I dropped the phone ya know?
