Or just force close jump on the iPad, I find that a quicker solution. Actually, I have the mouse pointer locked most of the time (option in settings) and I think that’s the only way to cut the connection in this case.

In case I want to terminate the connection while on my PC, how to do it?

Close the app in the standard way - "X" at upper right - or in upper left, under "File", select Disconnect.

When connected to my iPad Pro 12.9" at iPad resolution, the screen connected directly to my PC only shows a smaller windows desktop (both sides show a wide black region). I don't see a "X" at upper right. Tried File and Disconnect but it did not disconnect.

My bad - I confused myself on that one. Down in the lower right, if you look at hidden icons on the taskbar, there is a little red gremlin-like icon for Jump. Left-click should show a selection dropdown that should say a user is connected. Hover over that and it should show the user and another dropdown menu with a Disconnect option that you can select.

Thanks. I found it but choosing Disconnect does not disconnect between the two. The little red gremlin-like icon for Jump disappeared but both the PC and iPad are still connected. Very strange. Could this be a software bug?

Odd - I don't see that. I select Disconnect on the PC and in the Jump window on the iPad, a small window pops up saying that the connection has been disconnected.
