Nearly all of my music is either on my original iPad Air from many years ago or on my iPod Touch 4th generation. All of these songs were put on via CD's from an old MBP. I no longer have the MBP or the CD's. I would like to transfer every song from both of these devices to the new 12.9 iPad Pro 2018. I contacted Apple Support and they said to sync with the computer that contains the files. I explained I no longer have it. Does anybody have any advice on how to accomplish this?

iMazing will help, but it's paid... Just connect Device A > drag&drop music to a folder > connect Device B > drag&drop the folder with music. No library sync limitations like in iTunes.

A BIG thank you Minorite. Worked like a charm. I'm very appreciative of your help.

Is this without a computer? Transferring from one iPad to another? What do you mean by connect Device A ..
Connect to what?

Glad to hear it worked :)

You need to dump music from the source device to any folder on your computer, then connect target device and import files from that folder.
