Hi guys I recently just got a HTC One but now I'm ready to transfer all my pictures and music. I am assuming dropbox could take care if the pictures issue. But how would I get the music on it? Also can you continue to buy songs on itunes and easily transfer them over if its possible? Thanks!

Yes, you can still buy songs and transfer to your Android phone. I don't bother going through the hassle of cables or downloading iSyncr app, I just use the Airdroid app. Start it up on your phone and it will give you an IP address to log into on your computer. As long as both Mac and phone are on the same WiFi network, it is a simple drag and drop any file from your computer.

Google Play is a very seamless way of doing that provided your iTunes library is less than 20,000 songs it will automatically sync.
