How to transfer photos from iPad to Mac?

I have successfully installed FonePaw iOS Transfer and have transferred some photos successfully from my iPad to to my Mac Computer.
How do I transfer just a few photos? Like the one I just shot with my iPad which I want to transfer to the Mac?

Easiest way is to just hook it up to your Mac with the cable, and then open up iPhoto or Photos if that's where you want to transfer the photos to, or Image Capture if you want to save them to a folder.

Alternatively, if you're running iOS 8 and Yosemite on the Mac, use airdrop to send them wirelessly.
