How to turn iCloud music library off?

I just want to be able to sync my songs with a cable and iTunes over to my iPhone but iCloud Music Library won't even let me do that.

On the iPhone - Settings/Music - turn off iCloud Music Library. That will allow you to do manual syncs between the iPhone and iTunes. And still allow you to listen to Apple Music if you leave that on - however you won't be able to save songs/albums/playlists from Apple Music to your Library.
