My LCD doesn't seem to work and my power button is broken. How do I turn off my phone using the computer?

I know the phone is on because I can see it when I connect to itunes and it will ring when it receives a call.

Thank you.

Unless you're jailbroken, I don't think there is anyway besides letting the battery die.

Or install sbsettings in order to restart it.
But if you do shut it off how will you turn it back on without a working power button?

Well to turn it back on would be simple. Just plug it back into a power source, it will power right up. To turn it off, yeah, good luck with finding out how to do that. If you do find it out, please let us all know.

Oh, I didnt know it turned out each time you plugged it into charge.
Thanks.
To power it off he can use sbsettings thru cydia.

I ran into this problem with my iPhone 11 Pro MAX & came here for answers. I just let the screen run and started screenshotting as much as I could about 20 ss's in, the phone had too many commands to run and automatically refreshed. Im all good now

Do you realize you responded to a thread that's 11 years old? Nothing wrong with that but not sure if you noticed..
