Hi guys this is annoying the heck out of me, cant find an answer - in normal camera mode (not portrait) how do I turn off the F-stop (yellow "F" icon) so the photos will show clear foreground and background. As it is, the damn phone keeps turning this back on by default everytime I try to take a picture in regular mode, and all the photos have blurred background when I dont want it. I know i can edit the photo or click the "F" to turn it off, but is there a way by default to turn this off everytime I use the camera?

I really dont understand what the hell apple is smoking by forcing F-stop in regular camera mode by default, so all the background by default are blurred. Like if I just want to take a photo of my kid in front of disney castle, if i just click without doing anything, the castle is blurred! I have to go into each photo i take, edit, and turn off portrait, what the actual ****!

Arggg!

Basically, it appears to be related to scene detection.

Mine did this also. Always showing “F” and I somehow turned it off. Was really irritating. Sorry forgot how I did it.

Edit.

My hero! This finally fixed it, I don’t know how I missed trying all the settings. Thank you thank you!
