I have a MBP 2.33 Ghz with ATI X1600. In ut2004 there's no setting to turn on FSAA so I assume I have to tell the card to use it some other way? How to turn on this FSAA to 4x setting?

Thanks!

I use ATI Displays to do this with my X800, but sadly ATI hasn't officially released an Intel version of that utility for some reason.

So there's simply no way to enable FSAA on an intel Mac with ATI video?

Apparently there's a beta version of an Intel-compatible ATI Displays floating around somewhere, though I have no idea if it works with the X1600. Other than that, the game itself doesn't have the option like some other games do, so I'd say no. (There are a few lines in the .ini file about multisample buffers, which you could try editing, but I don't think they actually do anything.)

When ATi released the X1900 for the G5s they bundled an updated version ATi Display Utilities, which was a universal binary. Sadly Ati never released the utility separately. Do a google search for "ati display 4.5.9" and you should be able to find the files and information you need (check out the link to the apple discussions. someone has posted the files you need there). Install that and you should be able to configure your video settings per game (like how the ATi catalyst control center works for PCs).
