iPhone How to uninstall wi-fi sync for mac osx? PLEASE HELP

Hey guys,
I ran into a serious problem, I just wanted to play with my jailbroken phone and I installed wi-fi sync, I want to know how it works and I installed the mac client, but sadly, I didn't work, but nvm, I wanted to uninstall it, but i download the mac uninstall terminal file, and afterwards i type in my password, "USER not in the sudoers file. this incident will be reported'??!! PLease help, i heard that if u dont uninstall u aint able to update/restore your phone!! PLEASE HELP:(

Have you tried looking for help at the product website?
 
I have never seen an uninstall for this program and that has always pissed me off.

I tried it a few times with negligible benefits and rarely used it, now will never use it after Apple has incorporated this. But this guy has never provided any support, or a clear and concise way of removing his crappy program we paid 10 bucks for!

If any one nows how, please do let us know.
 
It took me awhile to figure out also. I can remember one important hint. Once you locate the website of the developer (I googled to find it) there is a link within that allows you to uninstall the program off you Mac. Now, here's the tricky part, and the area that messed me up a bit, when you are there you are prompted for your password. Type it in. You will NOT see the cursor move and it'll look like your password is not being accepted.

It is! The cursor remains in one spot with nothing showing each character of your password as being accepted, but it is! It'll be easy to simply want to abort. Continue typing your password anyway.
Once the password is applied the rest is easy.

I think the only reason the developer even allows you to remove the program at all is due to the need to do so when an update is issued. New updates cannot be applied until the older version is removed.
Outside of that this tricky developer probably wouldn't even have allowed this difficult process.

No other app has caused me such consternation. I was happy to be rid of it.
 
Uninstall script needed

Hi,
The Wifi-Sync website is gone now, and we need the uninstall script for a client. Does anyone happen to still have the OS X Wifi Sync uninstall script lying around? :-D :-D

I can't open the downloaded uninstaller and because it is "from an unidentified developer"... how can I get rid of this wifi sync??

You can open apps from unidentified developers by right clicking the app and then selecting open.
