Hi, guys!

I'm new here at the forum, but I found it the best way to ask a question that's bugin' me.

Is it possible to use Blacksn0w to jailbreak and unlock the iPhone 3GS (FW 3.1.2 - 05.11.07), and, after that, "un-jailbreak" it??

I'm asking that because I don't have good experiences w/ jailbroken iPhones... my old one (1st G.) kept crashing and had lots of problems... I would like to unlock it, but not use the jailbreak...

Is this possible? I guess it is, but how??

Thanks!

PS.: I use AT&T, but I travel a lot to other countries, and want to use others SIMs on my iPhone.

Sorry, for the 3GS or 3G, such method won't work. The 3GS or 3G require a small payload or mini-program to run in order to achieve the unlock.

However, to let the program run you need to have a jailbroken iPhone, just to download/install it you need to jailbreak. Un-jailbreaking requires Restoring with a stock firmware, which will wipe out the payload.

Yes, what the poster said above.
Its not happening without the jailbreak. If you restore to factory firmware your iphone will relock itself.
Maybe just jailbreak and install blacksnow to unlock and dont install any other jailbreak apps or component to your iphone so you wont have any issues at all.
