I have an iPhone 5c that I just replaced with another non-iphone. I forgot to call AT&T and have it unlocked before upgrading phones. Can I still call AT&T and have it unlocked? Or do I have to do it another way? It is definitely out of contract.

I met all the criteria, but when I put in the IMEI I got the following response:

"This device isn’t eligible to be unlocked now because all of the installment payments have not been paid.
Log in to your account to check your payoff information and pay the installments online.
You can submit a new request 24 hours after you make the payment."

I guess I should call AT&T?

If you are positive that your device is 100% paid off then call them.

On the phone with them now. They see when it was paid off, over a year ago. Thanks for your help.
[doublepost=1472829284][/doublepost]Update: There is a system error and they are creating a case and trying to correct is. This is now 38 minutes and counting on the phone with customer service. They say the issue will be resolved by September 6, 2016.
