How to update Catalina GM when public release is out?

Hi so I might install GM ver of Catalina. My question is when the os is released for public what would happen to the GM software on my mac? Is there another process to renove the gm version? Thanks!

Download the full installer from the App Store and install it.

The GM is often the release build that the public gets so when you've updated to it to get back on public release just remove the profile and then when they release a 10.15.x update you will be back on the store version however if your really wanted off GM before a .x update then you can do the reinstall process from the store

The problem currently is that I don't have a developer's account. Secondly, if I sign up to beta profile, then it's not saying GM update available it's saying 10.5 beta.
