Excuse my ignorance but how do I update my iCloud contacts?

When I check iCloud.com / Contacts there are a few missing.

So far what I've done was backed up my iPhone via iCloud, deleted the back up and RE backed up via iCloud. And that has pretty much exhausted all my ideas.

Regardless I'm still missing a few contacts. The only reason I noticed this is because I was assigning names to faces in iPhoto and noticed there are a few people that didn't have contact information which I thought was bizarre. So I looked on iCloud.com and sure enough those people weren't there....

btw I did search and found a couple of unanswered threads from quite a while ago. Too old to resurrect.

Are they in your contacts currently (iPhone)

If so (settings> iCloud) toggle contacts off. Select keep on iPhone. Then turn it back on and tap merge.

Make sure your on a decent wifi network whilst doing this and watch for the loading icon to stop after each step.

Ahh my hero. Thank you so much, worked like a charm. iCloud.com updated the info even before I could log out and back in. Thanks again.

Your welcome.

Generally this happens when a data connection isn't available and the phone is powered off or restarted before the sync occurs.
