Hello,

I'm in the process of preparing my phone for the major upgrade from JB / UL 1.1.4 on T-Mobile USA to 2.+

I would like to save my text messages. I don't know if the standard ATT plug in phone and click upgrade button if that saves your texts - I'm under the impression that it does not.

I heard that syphone app for mac stopped working because in 2.1, the iphone started storing text messages in a different area.

If I SSH and copy my text messages file and then paste it back in after running pwnage, won't I get an error?

I've NEVER used pwnage before and I have no real idea how it works.

I figure that everything will be wiped from my phone. If this isn't the case, please tell.

When I sync back to Itunes, will it still know it is my phone and put everything back?

Or do I just upgrade through Itunes, and then use pwnage to JB and UL??

Any way to save "notes"?

any way to save recent calls?

Sync your phone, update it, then restore your backup?

how well does the back up feature work when just using pwnage on the 2G version of the iphone?
