I have an iPhone 3.1.3 jailbroken on a mac, How do I upgrade to 4.0.1, NOT 4.1 and keep or rejailbreak it?

You can't unless you have the SHSHs backed up in TU or Cydia. I think Cydia keeps backups of all firmware versions regardless of which ones you're on, so set your hosts files to point to surik's servers and try upgrading/restoring to 4.0.1. Thanks for the help, but Im not sure how to backup the SHSH or how to 'direct my host files' to surik servers. Thanks agin
