How to upload photos

New Macbook Pro.All of my photos from old MB are in Google photos.How to get them into the MB photos.

Open your library in Google photos.
Drag, or import into your Mac Photos.
Done.

I don't think I have Google photos on this Macbook. I might need to install it.

Sounds like you are hesitant about installing Google software? I can't imagine why you wouldn't want to do that (particularly when you already said that you have your photos are stored with Google)

How to get them into the MB photos.

You now want to download them to your new MacBook Pro and keep them in Apple's Photos application on your Mac? Yes or No?
