Hi, im looking for a work around so I can use my 5s on my 2010 macbook pro with Snow leopard 10.6.8 while keeping itunes 10.5. I just want to be able to create back up ISO's and transfer out my photos without itunes.

I would love to do all of this without using any post jobs era software, i.e OS past Snow Leopard. Running a sperate instance of itunes that wont mess with my current library would be amazing.

P.S Please try to understand that I really dislike all things apple since Steve died and I am prepared for massive work arounds just to avoid using anything Apple that is newer than the 5s.

Also If anyone knows how to image an iPhone 4s on 6.1.3 without updating itunes that would be great too.

Many thanks

Steve died in 2011, two years after Snow Leopard. He was involved at least to some extent on the two subsequent releases Lion and Mountain Lion and likely began work on Mavericks. But ok. So really what you don’t like is everything after Bertrand Serlet left; and that’s a different story. I know this is off topic, but if you think Jobs’ death has something to do with disliking Lion it Mountain Lion, he was there. So perhaps your perceptions are affected by a false premise. Incidentally, Snow Leopard is amazing precisely because it’s predecessor Leopard (which Jobs said was the greatest OS Apple ever released) was riddled with bugs. Think about that.
