How to use Add Music to Next shortcut action?

How does the „Add Music to Next of Playing Next“ shortcut action work?
Has anyone used it? I can’t make it work for my potential use case.
For example, I want to and can play a song (using shortcut actions), then I’d like to add another fixed song to next.
My real use case would actually be, ok,
I have an automation that plays one of three predetermined playlists randomly after an alarm is stopped. I’d like to have one song play before that, so that it plays the song and add the playlist to Up Next.
Does anyone have experience using that action in any way?

To add a specific song to Up Next I’ve found this (imo not very straight forward) method to work:
First, use „Find Music“ and add the filter „Name is …“ and add the name of the song, then add the action „Add Music to Next of Up Next“.
