Hi,

I have a friend who has an external hard drive he uses with his mac. He wants to copy a large number of files (audio) from my pc to his mac.
But when he plugs in his hard drive, obviously nothing happens on the pc.

is there a way to connect his hard drive so he can copy stuff from my windows xp pc and transfer it to his mac os 10.4?

thanks...

You can also format it on your mac... just make sure that you select FAT32 as the format. As a word of warning, if you format on your PC and use NTFS formatting you will not be able to write to the disk on your mac. As long as you use FAT32 you should be fine.
