How do I make this work with a wireless keyboard? Apparently, if it is possible, I don't know how. I had to use a wired keyboard to get it boot to CD and I wanted to enable 64-bit, but holding those buttons down on the included wireless bluetooth keyboard do not work.

Is there a way to make it work or should I just use a wired keyboard?

Yes. it works if I use a wired keyboard. I am in 64-bit mode now after using a wired keyboard to boot. I will need this whenever I put 8GB of RAM in the machine.

Is there a terminal command to enable 64-bit mode permanently?

wireless keyboard start up

This is a known issue with the wireless keyboards... some of them have problems with start up key combos. mine for example will not let me choose my boot device/partition on start up when holding down the opt button or any other combination. its even hard to get it to boot to the diagnostic CD or the instal DVD with the wireless keyboard. I would suggest stickign with a wired keyboard.

I say "known" issue as its known by some mac users already, But i am not sure if apple has recognized the issue, they are geting good at ignoring problems of late.

also on your core I5 27 inch you may run into problems getting the wireless keyboard recognized by windows in bootcamp. another commonly documented problem.

Not sure I will boot-camp it, but I do want to be able to be able to run the DVD diagnostic, or even the hardware test but most want to be able to boot into 64-bit mode. I don't want to keep a wired keyboard around just for that. Kind of an inconvenience...
