How to use imessage ?

i know it's integrated with message but i am not sure if it sending imessage's messages.

how can i know if someone is using iphone with ios5 ?

If the other party has an iphone with iOS5 installed, then when you select their name to start chatting the text box will say iMessage in it.

the text box will say "iMessage" and the send button will be blue instead of green along with your sent messages.

Make sure it is on in your settings. I thought it would be on by default and was fairly surprised when I found it off.

Uhg, this needs to be a sticky along with newstand not going into folders and needing to double click to get the camera shortcut.
