I'm using VMWare Fusion Technical Preview. I tried importing x86 OVA of Linux distro which is proprietary. But it warns by saying that the provided OVA is an x86 Architecture and Machines is not supported.

Is there any solution to make use of OVA or other workarounds?

You can only use an ARM version of Linux in VMware Fusion tech preview. x86 emulation in any OS is not supported.
