How to utilize SSH

I have seen tons of tutorials on the web and forums about how to set up SSH (download openssh from cydia, winscp on cpu, login etc), but can't seem to find a good guide on how to actually effectively use the iphone file system to insert themes, change ringtones, sms sounds etc.

is there a good source for this, dont really want to learn by trial and error when im working in the iphones files and mess something up badly.

Themes I can help with, although I'm not sure how to manually insert ringtones.

To manually insert a theme via SSH, just navigate to \Library\Themes and place the theme folder in there.
