How To Whitelist An App Permanently?

So I have this silly screensaver that I downloaded SIX YEARS AGO and Catalina now blocks it from running.

I know about allowing it in System Preferences but that seems to be temporary (assumedly gets reset after reboot).

It should be permanent, unless it gets updated with a new binary.

If you’re sure that it is safe, you can remove the quarantine flag:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine <filename>
