Just the other day I got an iPad 4 and I went through the setup process in which I held my iPhone next to it and it logged into iCloud automatically. It was only after I had done this I realized that I did not know my iCloud password. I haven't known it for a few months now and every time I try to log in/reset my password it won't let me for some reason. I decided to just make a new iCloud using a different password but i can't log out of the iCloud because find my iPad is enabled, and to disable it I need my password. Which I don't know nor can reset. I can't even factory wipe the thing without disabling find my iPad. I've tried contacting Apple and they keep saying that they will send me info to reset my password but they have never met one of their time frames they claim.

If you have a proof of purchase Apple can remove the iCloud lock from their server. They'll send an email where you can upload a proof of purchase document if you ask them!
