I am still running Monterey on my first generation Studio, and I am thinking about upgrading to Sonoma. I work mainly with the Adobe suite.

1. Does Sonoma seem to run smoothly on the Studio?
2. Are there any known issues with running it on a Studio?

Thanks

There's nothing special about Sonoma on Studio. There may be something about Adobe Suite on a base Studio Max, though, and Sonoma should not be blamed for it.

14.5 runs great on my M1 Ultra.
- Intermittent Touch ID issues are gone.
- BLE Sound issues are also gone (I used to have interruptions with more than two connected devices apart from AirPods.)

There are still plenty of issues with Sonoma, but they appear only to affect a subset of users. That is across all devices, not just the Studio. But I have no notable issues so far with my Studio.

I clean installed the OS earlier this year and found that Adobe is a bit more ‘clunky’ with slow first launches on Sonoma than it was with Monteray.

I run Sonoma on M1 Studio Max 10+ hours a day using Adobe Creative Cloud apps (mostly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat). Other than Acrobat being the most horrible, buggy, sluggish app ever made on any platform, they all run great.

Sonoma is running smooth and fast on my M1 MBA - can't imagine a Studio having any issues!

1) It runs great for me.
2) I have had no issues with the latest version of Sonoma but I'm sure it will depend on your hardware setup and applications (I do not use the Adobe suite).
