How well will my Macbook Prp run ET:Quake Wars

I've been looking for a great multiplayer game for mac and have run into nothing but problems. I tried Star Wars BattleFront (along with the latest patch) and can't get it to run, Battlefield 2142 has like 7 servers running, and some of the free Counter-Strike like games just arn't doing the trick. Anyways how would you rate Quake Wars and the community? A lot of people playing? Also will my MacBook Pro run it with decent graphics?

Duo Core 2.5 (Intel Based Processors)
4 Gigs of DDR2 SDRAM
512mb of Video Ram (GeForce 8600m GT)
