Anybody know how Mac users will control GameCenter (iOS) games?

For instance, if a game has on-screen buttons for iOS devices, how will Mac users play it, exactly?

Just curious, thanks.

It will only support Mac games, although games can be designed to communicate with their iOS counterparts.

The developer would have to design new control methods. Macs have physical buttons, so it shouldn't be too hard in most cases :)

It’s only going to work with games that are on the Mac - integration with iOS is only going to occur with mutiplatform titles that the developer specifies as compatible. Think of a game like Angry Birds - their are distinct iOS versions for the iPad, iPhone, and the Mac.

You are not going to be running the iOS version on the Mac - Craig made it clear with the demo that the developer made a Mac version simultaneously with the iOS version. They will be dedicated apps.

Oh okay, thanks for clearing that up.

Is there a way to see which games in the AppStore have OS X versions?

You'll probably be able to view the achievements and leaderboards from the iOS games on your Mac, but not be able to play them on your Mac.

We won’t know any of that until ML is formally released and developers actually take advantage of game center to know exactly how we will know. We only saw one title - presumably of an unreleased game that has the same name across all platforms.

We just don’t know enough.
