Hi I have a intel iMac 2007 version, 20" Core 2 Duo 2GHz 4Gb RAM.

It came with Leopard and I bought Snow Leopard upgrade as it said a log of under the hood speed improvements etc.

So now my iMac is getting a little old how do you think Lion will run, considering it states it has to have a C2D to run and mine being the lowest speed ever on an iMac.

I'd rather have a good experience on my iMac now and forfeit the extra features in Lion.

I still have the Mac App store so only thing is maybe what has been shown, nothing earth shattering to me.

I use my iMac for iLife 11, surfing, printing, iTunes for feeding Apple TVs, general use really. No pro apps or games.

Cheers

Leopards have always been faster than Lions.
But Lions make women do all the work anyway...
Is your iMac male or female?
:D

BTW, it will run fine, I have it running on my 2007 MBP.

What specs on your MBP please? If it runs smooth on a preview edition I can only hope that as it goes to gold release it will be better/faster?
