I just bought MBP for myself and Apple did say I will get a free upgrade, but I am a little bit worried...

My connection is like 2-3 Mbps and I will have to download 4GB massive file...

Should I just return it and wait for MBP with LION?

How will apple verify that I bought MBP very recently?

HELP! I am worried because I did not buy from apple...

Hold on to this receipt?
Call 1-800-apple for SOS?
Email Steve jobs?

Please help. I am still new with this.

Is this really such a big problem for people?

Like 17 years ago I would just leave big downloads on overnight... or go get a sandwich. It was fun.

U don't need to be at home to download the file.

As for the upgrade every mac purchased and registered after the announcement gets a free update.

Oh! That makes sense. Thank you.

Ya, I used to download files that were a couple gigs like 10 years ago on a 1.5 megabit connection. Painfully slow, but I got by. People complain too much.
