How would I use google sheets in a browser on an iPad?

Using the full features of google sheets is critical for us - can this be accomplished on an iPad? The ipad keeps forcing me into the app which has limited functionality. However, if I delete the app, it won’d let me edit like I can on a desktop. I tried other browsers and they display the full features, but then it seems to crash.

If you request the desktop site, it will allow you to edit sheets in Safari.

I’d recommend the iCab web browser and changing the user agent.
