I was just listening to the Howard Stern Show and on march 9th he bought a MacBook Pro. I guess he also has a Nixon DSLR camera and is playing with Photoshop too. I wounded What kind of pictures he's taking with Beth O.

It's interesting to note that his experience started with the iPad.

My experience went like this:

MacBook Pro --> iPhone original (now 3GS) --> iMac 24" --> iMac 27" -->[soon iPad 2]

I never used Windows (except work). I'm much smarter than all of you. :D

He also gave up his Android phone for an iPhone 4.

My original was the Macintosh bought in 1986. I still have it in my garage and it still works. I added a 25 mhz accelerator card and it was soo fast compared to other Macs at 8 Mhz.

Macbook pro> Iphone 3> Iphone 3gs> Iphone 4> mac mini server

Joining-Storys :cool:

Here is how i joined the :apple::

Ipod shuffle> Ipod Touch > Hackintosh > Hackinbook > Macbook Pro > Ipad

Ive been getting a kick out listening to his transition from PC to Mac and Blackberry to iPhone. I am kind of going through it too.

Went from various Classic iPods to the iPod Touch every generation to iPad last year to jumping for joy when I could finally jump on with Verizon iPhone which finally moved me to make the big move to the MacBook Pro :D

I've been getting a kick out of listening to his experience of jerking off to porn while balancing his iPad. LOL.

I went 20GB Classic ('05) -> iPod Photo ('05) -> 60 GB iPod Classic ('06) -> 2nd Gen iPod Nano ('07) -> 2G iPhone ('07) -> 1st Gen Touch ('08) -> iPhone 3G -> 2nd Gen Touch ('08) -> iPhone 3GS ('09) -> iPhone 4 ('10) -> 1st Gen iPad (10) -> Early 2011 MacBook Pro ('11).

I'm pretty much a convert. I still use Windows because I much prefer the HTPC and networking aspects of Windows 7 but I can't see owning another Windows laptop.

Now if I could just get my MacBook and my PC's to play nice with file sharing, I'd be happy.

Here's my :apple: journey:

iPod Nano (4G) -> iPod Touch (3G) -> iPod Shuffle (3G) -> iPhone 4 -> Macbook Pro 2011 13"

The real breakthrough is iPhone 4 IMHO for myself.

I've been a windows user all my life until my new(ish) HP notebook with Vista (ugh..) crashed in the same week Apple unveiled the unibody macbook pro design in 2008.

A bit later, my Archos PMP fell into a toilet, and I didn't hesitate to replace it with an iPod touch 2g.

Just at the start of last week I was in the US, and came about an Apple store with iPad2s in stock.

The funny thing is he has completely converted...went from an iPhone hater "I need a real keyboard, Android is the best blah blah blah" to now being a true applephile. He got rid of ALL of his PC gear...Robin did too. Went out bought an iMac, MBP and TWO MBAs...I bet that sales person wished they worked on commission that day.

I bet he can push a few sales of apple product. He has loyal fans and if he tries something his fans will too.
