How’s the white mesh holding up?

How’s the white mesh and band holding up for you brave souls who purchased the APM colors with them?

I really liked the look of the white/aluminum but ended up going space gray in fear of of mesh instantly getting filthy.

Looks just fine, I added AppleCare Plus so I’ll be using the AirPods for mostly everything for the next two years with peace of mind.

I’ll update this response if I start noticing wear or discoloration in the coming few months.

Good! How long have you been using them? I realize they’re going to show dirt very easily. That’s an inevitability with light fabrics and materials. But I’m more concerned about how easily the dirt cleans off. I bought the silver APMs two days ago, but I’ve been afraid to open the box (since I might return them) because I realized when I got home that they might be too hard to keep clean. Any feedback you can give would be most appreciated!

Unless you are a dirty person, Silver/White combo is the way to go. Its unmistakably Apple and the colour I went for.

You should just open the box and wear test them for a week to see how they hold up according to your own use case. Everyone is different and if one person can keep it clean, perhaps other people use hair products that are sticky and will react to the fabric / attract dirt particles.

If you feel it isn't for you, just return it.

I don’t know about that.... apple has a bad habit of overlooking obvious things. Wondering if the material will sponge hair dye (fun or otherwise), have weird reactions to hair products, yellow if exposed to sunlight, etc, etc.
