I'm curious to see if it is possible to compile / run the latest version of Privoxy 3.05 Beta? The last release they have for OSX was in 2004 and is not universal.

They have released the source code, and I have installed xcode tools but am curious what I could do from here?

thanks,

No source is "generic", they are generally trailored towards one particular platform or another. What is the source for, what platform?

I see, they appear to include most of the sources in 1 file.

I'd say that one of your BSD sources would be your best bet. Instrutions for compiling should be included in the source's README.

But first off I'd CHECK the changelog and compare what has been added to 3.05 versus 3.03.
If it's nothing special, then stick with the Mac version.
