I have been impressed with Chromebook's start-up and shut speed, faster than all of my computers, including my MacBook Pro, but the feature I like best is its update feature. When the update arrow appears in the lower right corner of the screen, you click it and restart computer, update is done.

A Chromebook is a system running Chrome on top of the Linux kernel. There are more features coming, like how Android apps can now be run on there. There are a few other things, but that's basically it.
