HP Wireless Printer - Very Delayed Printing

Just wanted to check if any of the users are using HP Wireless Printer - After the Big Sur upgrade, the printing is very slow. Its like I give the print and then I need to wait for 5-7 minutes for the printing to start - even simple documents.

Any many times, if I try to print images, it starts but never finishes; As per HP's website the driver seems to be the latest and firmware on the printer also seems to be latest.

I have reset the printing system, added the printer again. Still the above issue persists.
Do suggest if anyone faced similar issues and if you managed to fix it.

I use an HP Envy 5000 series. It’s been working normally for me. Same as printing from Catalina and iOS.

Were any drivers updated when your system got moved to Big Sur ?

Nope.

have you rebooted? you could also try resetting nvram.

or just go to print 5-7 minutes before you actually were going to...

He he. Yeah. That’s what I’ve been doing.
actually connected it with usb cable and it works just fine. Pretty much defeats the purpose of wireless printing but, getting the job done.
Sadly hp is hopeless to respond. 😖
