I would love a HSBC App that can access my accounts, look at DD's and transfer money...is anything like this in the pipeline?

I would also like an update of the National Rail App...it would be great to purchase tickets for collection/ reserve seats and whatnot.

What are your views?

In truth, apps like these usually get some media attention. Look at the USAA app.

Both of those would be pretty cool and the precedent is there. The absolute best thing to do would be to contact the respective institutions and tell them it's something you'd like.

There used to be a free National Rail app (MyRail?) worked perfectly… but since it was unofficial of course National Rail "closed it down" when it became popular… and then proceeded to issue their own "official" app… all yours for £5…

And you stil can't buy tickets… *sigh* Typical National Rail…

:) I hope so.

Does this happen often or is it just me but some App's change to the same icon as overs?

For example Shazam has the Google App icon and yesterday Mobile Minutes had the BeeJive icon Grrrrrrrr.

HSBC's internet banking is superb, so too is it's internet business banking. Really easy to use and transfer money, pay bills, international transactions, the works. Interface is friendly and modern, great stuff.

I'm all for an HSBC app! Unless the Apple tablet comes with Snow Leopard, in which case I really don't care for an iPhone app.

Ohh what does that App do? I would also like a BBC iPlayer App lol. I don't ask for much.

Just add a BBC iPlayer bookmark to your SpringBoard.

Look up an app called money.strands. It's similar to Mint which is US only... basically you can add as many bank accounts/credit cards as you like, and view all recent transactions in several different formats (charts/graphs so you can see where you money is going in what proportions). There is also a web based desktop application. You can make any transactions unfortunately, but if you just want to check you balance on the go it's good for that. oh, and it's free!

just to add.... I dont work for the people behind money.strands.... i just researched it a lot because it seemed pretty good.
